![]() Pain In A Glass Vase Have you ever seen fear? Ever smelled the scent of a tear? His eyes moved me as they Dripped hurt upon my face All I could do was attempt to embrace it's pain A strong man fell helplessly weak into my arms As a woman, I wondered what could I do? Nothing prepared me for this day when I would have to hold in a grown woman's cry and have to help to pacify a strong man's pain So I did only what any one in my place could do I soothed the hurt away while singing songs of inspiration into his ears and it uplifted years of misbalanced fear Then I suddenly realized that his cries became my tears I grabbed my peach colored handerchief covered in lace and listened as our painful tears dripped silently...... into a glass vase. ~wisdom flows through my veins thick as papaya honey & wet like mango rain~ |
