The Itching of War

Who demons are we really fighting at this time?
September 11 proved to be untimely yet questionable.
The greatest and powerful country caught off guard.
Intelligent communities lost for real explanations.
Many Americans feel that the ordeal does not add up.
I hear the expression setup from time to time come forth.
Now we are a step or two away from declaring war.
The warning goes out to rid the axis of evil from the world.
World peace is the cry but something is seriously wrong.
Peace is the excuse for Iraq is the target for its natural resource.
Weapons of mass destruction are the call and who gave it to Iraq?
Inspectors look for that smoking gun to avoid complication of war.
The hidden agenda of deception continues to grow stronger everyday.
Hear the cry: “Enough is enough let’s not be fooled by this leadership.”
Other countries continued to make plead with the UN for more time.
The ticking of the clock continues to move towards war my friend.
Families will lose their love ones on both sides all because of greed.

Illusion of War

Young men prepped, in all aspects to wage battle against their unseen enemies.
The constant indoctrination proved effective, even to override one's consciousness.
Men become killing machines ready and prime to seek, their ultimate glory.
Your moment then comes when stepping from the make believe into realm of, reality.
All around dead bodies, shooting and bombs exploding with loud booms everywhere.
A person next to you gets his head blown off, as you look in the state of shock.
Blood everywhere mixed with dirt, heaven knows what else as this headless body lay.
The battleground, be it barren lands or torn up cities, the stench of war is strong.
Your heart is pounding; your mind is asking serious questions, as you move forward.
Then you convince yourself that survival is, the utmost task, for death is laughing loudly.
It is a rude awakening to see bloody parts of what were once living functioning people.
The impression upon you, implanted in your psyche, that refuses to hide its true benefits.
Times like these relives the treasures of war, as you engage strength to calm your spirit.
Mental pictures after pictures only display the real worth of war, death and destruction.
We like children, still play this old historical value, to its proper place, the continuation.

9/11/01 reflected

The day terror caught all of us off-guard.
Yes 2 yrs later the pain still lingers.
Condemnation leads way to assertive actions.
As families, friends and others still cry in pain.
Communities across the board reach out to help.
As America recovers and now faced with big challenges.
Fear now implanted in our psyche as the threat of war is real.
Let’s take this moment to a quiet place and reflect on what’s ahead.
Sacrifices are they really necessary in order to maintain power and control?
Historically time in and time out has given all of us the ultimate answer, NO!
9/11/01 should be a lesson learned that power and control is really an illusion.
Yes take this day as a step towards peace by stopping the illusion that will harm us all.
